Benefits
Here at Lamorinda Montessori we value our staff and have carefully chosen benefits that demonstrate our respect and high expectation of professional level work. Each staff member at our center has the opportunity to qualify for a variety of the following benefits;
We pay 85% of the premium of Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (We cover 100% of these premiums once an employee has worked 4 years with us)
We pay for 100% of the premium of Life Insurance ($500,000 policy)
We offer a 401k Retirement Plan
We cover 50% of the tuition for children of staff members that attend our center
We pay 15 Federal Holidays throughout the year (including one holiday reserved for the staff member to use at their discretion)
We pay 5 PTO days and 3 Sick days each calendar year
After a year of working for Lamorinda Montessori, we pay for 3 weeks of vacation (Weeks that we are closed)
We pay 100% of the educational costs for employees attaining additional ECE classes

Compensation
At Lamorinda Montessori we want to attract career oriented individuals that want long term growth rather than a summer job. Due to this, we have established competitive pay that varies depending on education and professional experience. Currently, our staff make between $18 to $36 per hour.

Work Environment
Working with children is not easy. We have slowly found hard working, loving, and professional staff that love what they do for a living. Throughout the year we have several employee only events to maintain high morale and lighten up even the most stressful of days. We also provide several Staff Training days to recenter everyone and update any trainings so that our staff are up to date on all new requirements and regulations.
