Raquel has been in the Early Childhood Educational Field for over 37 years. Over her lifetime she has amassed more than 2000 hours of additional education in a variety of specialized trainings for dealing with children. She owned and operated her own preschool in Mexico City for over 10 years until she moved to Lafayette in the early 90’s. For the next few years she worked in preschools across Lamorinda while raising her family with her Husband. Her educational philosophy is that respect and love towards children is the foundation of a successful and happy child.

Antonio has been in the field for over 11 years working with children as young as a few days after birth through middle school. He grew up in Lamorinda and graduated from Campolindo High School then continued to major in Early Childhood Education in college with a minor in Business. Over the years he has worked in the preschool classroom as a teacher, an administrator in a preschool, then went on to become an educational consultant for several preschools across the Bay Area before joining the Lamorinda Montessori team. He has a passion for education and the importance of Early access to education, along with his love for his three children and fiancé.

Ms Maria Elena has been working with children for around 30 years. She has devoted her life to educating children and when she is not teaching children or teaching teachers she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Ms Ivethe has been working with children for over 12 years. Ivethe also enjoys traveling the world and getting to know all of Latin America.

Ricardo has been working in childcare since he was 9 years old! Studying child psychology and Medical Assisting in college, Ricardo used his skills to help childcare providers be treated fairly.

Ms Mica has been working with children since 1987! She found out early that she loved educating children and worked to attain her Montessori Credentials and her Bachelors Degree. When not teaching, she loves spending time rescuing animals, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Ms Patty has worked with children for 7 years. She enjoys watching them grow and learn throughout the year. When not teaching she loves being a mother to her son and exploring the world along with him.

Ms Mary has been working with children longer than she can remember. She enjoys every aspect of child care and has raised several of her own over the years. When she is not working with children she is out traveling the world on her own including places such as Russia, Spain, Mexico, and Qatar.

Ms Ana has been working with children for almost 10 years with a specialization in supervision. When she is not caring for her classroom children or spending quality time with her own family, she enjoys going shopping.

Ms Dani is fairly new to the field but is quickly discovering that this is her passion. She enjoys watching children grow and learn but when not with them, she enjoys dancing and watching over animals.

Ms Paola is fresh to the field! She has been working with children since 2021 and has a passion for absorbing everything there is to learn about educating children. When not teaching and learning she enjoys practicing her artistic skills.

Ms Silvia has been working with children for over 20 years. She loves encouraging their curious nature and bringing out their smiles. When not teaching, Silvia enjoys helping others and being someone to rely on.

Ms Chayito has been working with children for over 15 years. She loves teaching in both English and Spanish. When not teaching, Chayito enjoys dancing.

Ms Carmen has been working with children for over 9 years. She truly enjoys trying new foods especially pastas and cooking Mexican food.

Jessica has worked directly with Infants for over 4 years. She also enjoys going outdoors with her son.

Ms Berta has been working directly with infants for more than 32 years. She has worked with hundreds of children over the years. She also enjoys expressing herself artistically.

Ms Janely has been working with children for a few years now and is continuing to grow and learn each year that she works. When not watching children she enjoys volunteering at the animal shelter and working with dogs and cats.

Ms Karla has been working with children for just under 6 years. She enjoys going on walks with her two children and watching them grow.
